About Darwin200
Charles Darwin University (Australia), in partnership with the Northern Territory Government and the City of Darwin is currently planning a number of events in 2009 to commemorate Charles Darwin’s birthday and achievements. These events aim to raise awareness of who Charles Darwin was, what he achieved and how his legacy is relevant to the present day Northern Territory, both in the academic and broader community. The program that is developed will be interdisciplinary and will include activities around the natural sciences, the creative arts and humanities, philosophy, religion and the social sciences.
This Asia Pacific Portal of Darwin200 is hosted by Charles Darwin University and supported by the Northern Territory Government and Darwin City Council.
